Deaf Day

Students from Metro Deaf School and University of St Thomas led activities throughout the museum in American Sign Language. Visitors learned basic ASL signs, created bookmarks with their names in sign language, participated in story time, and experimented with Squishy Circuits. ASL interpreters were also available throughout the museum.

Before the event, I created social media content and promotional materials to generate excitement. During the event, I hosted activities, took photos, and facilitated the planned activities, including leading sessions in American Sign Language. After the event, I produced a mini-documentary capturing highlights and created posters showcasing the event activities and calendar.
